Organic White Tea has a smooth, naturally sweet taste. Organic White Tea is the rarest and most delicate of all teas. White tea leaves are harvested at a younger age than green tea leaves and can only be hand picked in early spring. Its name originated from the white downy hairs on the bud of the unopened tea leaves. Only the bud and first two leaves are picked. White tea undergoes minimal processing and the leaves are not oxidised. This helps retain more of the beneficial properties of the leaf.
To brew Organic White Tea – use hot, but not boiling water as this can ruin the delicate flavour of the white tea.
